The Wordsworth SIGNATURE RESTAURANT serves award winning food and has a great wine list which includes more than 130 wines to suit every pocket and palette. Our Signature restaurant’s Head Chef Jaid Smallman mixes tradition and innovation in equal measures to create his a la carte menu.

 

Using seasonal, locally sourced produce wherever he can, his dishes have won plaudits from both food critics and guests. We can cater to Gluten Free and Wheat Free Diets – if possible please let us know in advance.

Jaid sources his ingredients from the finest local purveyors including:

Fresh free range eggs from Bannering Farm,

Lamb and beef from Fellbred Cumbrian meats,

Trout from Bessy Beck Trout Fishery,

Cheeses from The Cheese Larder,

Venison and smoked products from Cartmel Valley Game,

Meats for our Cumberland Breakfast from Lakes Speciality Foods.
