CIVIL AND CHURCH WEDDINGS
The Hotel is licensed to hold Civil Marriages, but its location next to the historic and charming 17th Century Church of St. Oswald’s also make sit a perfect base for a traditional Church Wedding or Blessing.
THE CEREMONY ROOMS
For the smaller, more intimate wedding, the civil ceremony can take place in THE GARDEN ROOM or THE RESIDENTS LOUNGE, with their wide bay windows overlooking the lawns. The cosy Garden Room is perfect for parties of up to 14 people, and The Residents Lounge is available for ceremonies of up to 30 guests.
For ceremonys up to 24 people our new stunning CONSERVATORY with views looking across the manicured gardens and onto the fells behind is also a beautiful option.
For marriages from 40 to 90 guests, the spacious, air-conditioned COLERIDGE SUITE makes an excellent setting, and THE PRELUDE RESTAURANT ia also a most attractive option.
For gatherings from 90 to 120, there is an ideal location for a MARQUEE on the wide expanse of level lawn leading directly from the terrace.
